Q: How were you related to the marriages performed by Jason West in 2004?
A: I attended the ceremonies. I knew some people who knew people who were getting married that day, and of course I wanted to see it all happen.
Q: Describe the scene outside the Village Hall that day.
A: There were a couple thousand people there, and about twenty-thirty protestors a couple hundred feet away. They didn’t really interfere with what was going on, but made their presence known to spectators and people participating in the ceremonies.
Q: How did you feel about the media attention?
A: I didn’t mind it, it was good for business, and we as a business community supported him.
